Many people believe all righteous people who have faith in Jesus as well as those servants of God before Jesus came on earth as man will go to heaven. They believe that all God’s servants of before in the Hebrew Scriptures as well as those Christians who died and the remaining Christians on earth until judgment come will go to heaven to live there eternally. Is this really the teaching of God’s word? If we will go back with the original aim of Jehovah God to Adam and Eve as well as to their offspring, God originally aimed to let the mankind live on earth as stated in Genesis 1:28 and that he didn’t want them to die as stated in Genesis 2:16 and Genesis 3:3. So God’s original plan to mankind is to let them live on earth forever because he doesn’t want them to die but to multiply on earth and to have dominions on earth. However, an angel from heaven who became Satan – the Devil eventually had lied to Eve that they will not die if they will eat the forbidden fruit but become like God who can know the good and bad (Genesis 3:4, 5). That is why the sin came to all mankind and that it caused death to all the offspring of Adam and Eve because Adam had sinned (Romans 5:12) as well as Eve. Now, is the will of God broken and will not ever be done? If we are going to read Isaiah 55:11, God assured us that his words will not come back to him without result but rather he will do his will as he pleases it to happen. Now, what is the proof that God’s will on mankind is to let them live forever on earth? We shall begin with God’s promise of eternal life on earth to his promise to Jacob and you can read it in Genesis 48:3, 4. In these verses, Jehovah God promised to Jacob that his descendants will possess the land that God will give to them for indefinite time (NWT; while it is “forever” in other translations). It is true that there are words in Hebrew Scriptures especially when talking to Mosaic Law, there are laws commanded by God to do by the Israelites for indefinite time while other translation it is “forever”. However, it was not done continually and so it is not forever. The original word for these terms have a meaning of “perpetual”, “forever”, “eternal” and “indefinite time”. However, God’s words on these commandments to Israel using Mosaic Law are said “not to be broken”. His words are not broken. Again these commandments are only replace by personal offerings of God’s people through prayers, contributions and preaching of the word of God and that the forgiveness of sins is through the blood of Jesus. The Law was ended through Jesus Christ death (Romans 10:4; Colossians 2:13, 14). Therefore, the word of God was not broken. Still it is doing continuously but through new ways of pleasing God under a new covenant through Jesus. How must we view the words “indefinite time” as translated in NWT in the said verses? This promise of God to Jacob is in relation to God’s will on earth to let it continue to exist as stated in Ecclesiastes 1:4 (again in NWT it is indefinite time) however, in Psalms 104:5 it is not only indefinite time but it is also forever. (Please see the corresponding Hebrew interlinear for these verses and the NWT). It says the earth will never be moved and it will exist forever. Another example of the word “forever” in NWT can be found in 2 Samuel 7:16 (which has a greater fulfillment to Jesus) in which David is said to have rulership forever.  So, if all the righteous people will go to heaven to live there, for what purpose is the earth that it will continue to exist forever? The Bible answers that the earth was made as a dwelling place and that it was created by God with purpose (Isaiah 45:18). In fact, the earth was given by God to mankind (Psalms 115:16). Now, what is the proof that the earth was given by God to mankind? Psalms 37:9, 11, 29 clearly states that righteous and meek people will live on earth forever (see the Hebrew Interlinear). How about some people’s teaching of a new literal earth or a paradise which is on heaven (which may compose of literal land)? Again, the word of God clearly states that the righteous will dwell on earth and that those without sins or imperfectness will “remain” on earth while those wicked will be “rooted” out of it (see Proverbs 2:21, 22).  It is also in conformity with Isaiah 25:8 that God will destroy death (to be fulfilled) forever and wipe away all tears of men and take away the disgrace of his nation in the whole earth. Notice the words use God will “take away” the disgrace on earth. Why? It is because righteous people will be left on earth. This in conformity with Psalms 72:8 which is a fulfilled prophecy to Jesus and will happen on the coming new earth and the prayer of Jesus known as the “Lord’s Prayer” commonly known as “Our Father” in Matthew 6:9, 10 is really the will of God which can be seen in Psalms 72:19, 20. Remember it was not said “new earth” thus David believe that this earth is still the earth that righteous people will dwell in. The “new earth” definitely means a renewed system on earth. Actually, David did not ascend into heaven as stated in Acts 2:34 but his hope is to live on earth as stated in Ezekiel 37:24, 25. This is in conformity with Joel 3:20 which states Judah and Jerusalem will be inhabited forever. However, some translations states Judah and Jerusalem will dwell forever. As we can see these are literal places that spoken about in chapter 3 therefore it must conclude that these places will be literally inhabited by its people forever. Another proof that the early God’s people did not go to heaven is in John 3:13. What are other proofs that the earth is meant to be a dwelling place of the righteous people? Jesus mentioned that the meek will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5; see the Greek- English Interlinear) that is why those who ruin the earth will be destroyed because the earth will still have purpose for the mankind as their dwelling place (Revelation 11:18). Are there people who will go to heaven? There are. In 1 Corinthians 15:35, Paul said one may ask on how will the dead be raised and to what body will they come again? He gave an answer in 1 Corinthians 15:38-40 which he stated that there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies that will be given to mankind according to God’s will. Therefore, there are two kinds of bodies that people will acquire in resurrection – one is heavenly body and one is earthly body. Of course heavenly bodies are spiritual bodies (who would live on heaven) and earthly bodies are physical bodies (i.e. with blood and flesh who would live on earth). So who would go to heaven? The Scriptures states that through Jesus, he bought people for God from earth to bring to heaven as stated in Psalms 68:18 which has a cross reference to Ephesians 4:8 – 10. Therefore, it is through Jesus that righteous people bought from earth will be taken to heaven. How it is possible to enter in the Kingdom of God in heaven? John 3:3 – 5 states that one must be born in Spirit and in water before one can enter to heaven. Who are those born in spirit? John 1:12 – 13 states they are born not from the blood or from the will of man but from the will of God. Therefore it is not through human will that they can enter to God’s kingdom in heaven but only through God’s will. This is in relation to Romans 9:11, 16 that those chosen is not chosen based on the works of the person, not on the one who wants and not on the one who runs but of the one who calls who is Jehovah. Therefore it is not ourselves who will decide if we will live on heaven. How ever far we have worked as righteous persons, the heavenly hope depends on the one who calls (compare Romans 8:28). Who are the ones call by God and what is God’s purpose for them? As the Scriptures states, those who will be on heaven must be born from Spirit and from the water i.e. born from the will of God as called by God through his spirit and born through baptism. Are the early people of God before Jesus came on earth as man not included to go to heaven? Yes, they are not included. As you can see in the previous verses I have quoted above the hope of the early God’s people is to live on earth. Actually, there is no single scripture in the Hebrew Scriptures that early God’s people will go to heaven. Again, John 1:13 states that no one went to heaven except to the one who came from heaven who is Jesus. If by that time Abraham, Noah, Jacob, Isaac, David and other people of God is not in heaven by that time then when will they be resurrected? John 5:28, 29 states that through Jesus there will be resurrection of the dead. When will the resurrection be happened? 1 Corinthians 15:23 states resurrection will happen on the presence of Jesus. When is the presence of Jesus? Some believe it is on Armageddon when God will give his judgment to all nations through the second coming of Jesus. However, Revelation 6:9 – 10 clearly states there are resurrected people in heaven before the world ends and are waiting for God’s judgment to come for the vengeance of their blood. Verse 11 states that they have to wait for a few more time until their complete number (the 144,000) be fulfilled. This resurrection refers to the ones mention in Revelation 20:4 – 6. They are the first resurrected ones who will become kings and priests of God together with Jesus in heaven. They are numbered as 144,000 (Revelation 7:4 – 8). Are these literal Jews who came from Israel? No. Revelation 14: 1 – 5 states they were bought from earth and “bought from humanity” (v. 3, 4) or “bought from all tribes, languages and nations” to become priests of God and kings over the earth (see Revelation 5:9, 10). Are these literal virgins? No. Peter is one of the apostles of Jesus Christ who will live on heaven yet he has a wife (1 Corinthians 9:5; Matthew 8:14; John 1:42). Is this the church of God which is composed of Christians? No. Since these 144, 000 will become kings over the earth. To whom they will rule if all Christians are kings in heaven? Why would the 144,000 become kings over the earth? 1 Corinthians 6:2 and Revelation 20:4, 6 state they will have to judge the earth for 1000 years in the millennial reign of Jesus. People who gets out of the great tribulation and those who will be resurrected to have chance to live on earth will have to prove themselves that they are deserving of eternal life only if they can pass on the final test after 1000 years of reigning of Jesus (Revelation 20:7, 8) However, those resurrected ones and have came out of the great tribulation who will disobey the will of God including his new commandments will be destroyed eventually even the 1000 years is not yet finished (Isaiah 65:20). Please check all the biblical verses I have written and as much as possible look for the corresponding interlinear of those verses.

The truth shall set us free. (John 8:32)

Jehovah’s Witnesses – True Witnesses of God

(A Closer Look in Proving Their Identity as True Christians and God’s People)

The dictionary defines the word witness (v) as to see or hear an occurrence of something. Another meaning is to view or perceive. The first meaning refers to the first witnesses who have an actual experience of seeing or hearing an event. In the Bible, these witnesses are the chosen people of God none other than the Israel. While the second meaning of witness refers to the first Christians who have an actual witness of the truthfulness of the words of Jehovah and his power through Jesus and the early apostles and those Christian witnesses of today who are testifying about the words of Jehovah and for Jesus Christ. The word “perceive” means understanding of something in a particular way thus it means knowing factual things through senses.

In the Bible, the word witnesses whom Jehovah claimed as his witnesses can be read in Isaiah 43:10.

Isaiah 43:10 “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.” – KJV

Notice the word used to refer to those witnesses. Jehovah said they are “his servant” (singular) and not “servants”. Thus a single word for a person can be characterized as a group of people. These witnesses (the early Israel) have seen and heard the fulfillment of the prophecies and power of Jehovah. We know from the beginning, Israel had been a witness to the power of God most especially on the time when they were freed from Egyptians. From that time and unto their next generations, Israelites have seen that no one from the words of Jehovah have failed to come. So Jehovah called his nation (Israel) as his witness – meaning someone who can testify the truthfulness of the words of Jehovah. The word “servant” refers to the spiritual teachers of Israel before and now refers to the faithful and discreet slave of Jesus or the Governing Body who is in charge for the spiritual food at the proper time. This was explained in the Watchtower magazine. Take note when Jehovah said verse Isaiah 43:10 he is not only referring to the current Israel of that time but on the first Israelites whom he freed from Egyptians through his power. They are the original witnesses of Jehovah while the witnesses of that time when he said his words are his present witnesses on that time. These witnesses have witnessed the words of Jehovah about the fulfillment of the prophecies and judgment of Jehovah.

However, witnesses of Jehovah not only include the first Israel (or the literal Jews) for in Isaiah 43:5-7 it says

5Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
6I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Jehovah assured his words that the first Israel would have offspring from the east and unto west part of the world. This verse definitely would mean that there are new witnesses of God to come, for the nation of Jehovah before was the Israel only. So when does these witnesses of Jehovah have come to exist? This was first fulfilled on the time of Jesus. His apostles and early Christians before became witnesses of Jehovah and himself for they have seen the truth through Jesus. But in Acts 1:8 it says

8”But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” – KJV

8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” – NASB

Jesus did not say that they “are his witnesses” but rather they “will become my witnesses to (just like in other versions) [emphazise pls] Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the most distant parts of the world. However, when Jesus told this to his apostles he did not mean it in present tense but on future tense. The best proof of his words can be seen in the book of Luke in 24:44-48 which says

44And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
45Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48And ye (are?) witnesses of these things. – KJV

44Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

45Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,

46and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day,

47and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

48You (are?) witnesses of these things. – NASB

At the time Jesus said “you (?) my witnesses of these things” – these things here are his resurrection after 3 days, the preaching of the apostles and Christians to all nations and the salvation through his name. At that time apostles were only preaching to Jerusalem and Paul and the other apostles and his colleagues were the one who preached the gospel to gentile nations. So definitely the word could be sense in the future tense for they haven’t witness yet the gospel of Jesus to the Gentiles at that time. Jesus was telling them what had happened – his resurrection after 3 days then the preaching of the gospel in all nations and forgiving of sins through his name. The latter is not happening yet but on the coming days. So it must appropriately render it as “you are to be witnesses of these things” just what the NWT renders it. The word “to be witnesses” means they will become witnesses who “will testify” rather than just being a witness of the events. They will testify to these events to the Gentile nations. And when Jesus talked to his apostles and said this, he was not limiting his words to the apostles as his witnesses but on the future days to come.

Luke24:44 – 48

44 He now said to them: “These are my words which I spoke to YOU while I was yet with YOU, that all the things written in the law of Moses and in the Prophets and Psalms about me must be fulfilled.” 45 Then he opened up their minds fully to grasp the meaning of the Scriptures, 46 and he said to them: “In this way it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from among the dead on the third day, 47 and on the basis of his name repentance for forgiveness of sins would be preached in all the nations—starting out from Jerusalem, 48 YOU are to be witnesses of these things. – NWT

And Acts 1:8 talked about the Holy Spirit (Helper as Spirit, see John 15:26 that will testify to the truth) that will come to his 12 apostles as well as the other disciples and it proves in Acts 2:1 – 11 when the Holy Spirit also came to a group of Christians before and they have miraculously speaks of different languages and they became “witnesses” (for they testified about the word of God) to other people in their new own language. – Thus the word of God started to grow in many nations because of different languages spoken of the early apostles and Christians and so the word of God started to grow.

John 15:26″When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me, – NASB

26But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: – KJV

The Spirit of truth is now being seen only with the true religion by sharing the biblical truth with the people of the world. Thus, the spirit of truth which is the holy spirit that comes from God is being poured with the true Christians of the world. So to take the summary of it, how must we be viewed the word “witnesses” in the Bible.  When Jesus resurrected and appeared and talked with his apostles and disciples within in 40 days, he told to them “you shall become my witnesses to many nations and therefore it should be written the other text as “you are to be witnesses of these things”. It is true that some of the witnesses to many nations did not got actual chance to see Jesus and his death but they are considered witnesses of Jesus and Jehovah for they are testifying about the truth. So how I am sure that this refers to witnesses of the next generations? If the phrase of Jesus was like this “You are witnesses of these things” then definitely that is in present tense. Meaning they are already witnesses of Jesus about his resurrection and the preaching of the gospel to the nations. But that grammar would not be appropriate to use “are” because as we know Jesus was saying that the gospel will be preach starting from Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. His words indicate of an event to come. That is why it should not be written as “are witnesses” which gives meaning of being an actual witnesses but rather the words should be “are to be witnesses” which gives accurate meaning of becoming witnesses in the future who will “testify about the truth” to the people of nations which is in line with the time that the context is showing. This is also in relation to the promise and aim of Jehovah to get a new nation for his own that will come from other nations. – Hoseas 2:23; Acts 15:17-19

Hosea 2:23And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God. – KJV

19“Therefore it is my judgment that we do not trouble those who are turning to God from   among the Gentiles, – NASB

Thus, these witnesses were not only witnesses of the power of Jehovah shown through Jesus Christ and in Jesus’ name but rather a more relative and deep meaning of witnessing that is bearing witness or testifying truth to all nations about Jehovah and Jesus Christ.

With this article, I am sure that Jehovah’s Witnesses are the true witnesses of Jehovah in union with Jesus Christ.

So why Jehovah’s Witnesses is correct? In Isaiah 43:10 Israel are witnesses of Jehovah on the past and on that current time yet verse 5 – 7 of Isaiah 43 just as to repeat again that these witnesses will have offspring from the east and west part of the world which is the Gentiles of the early Christians. We can see that there are modern Jews around the world but they do not believe with Jesus as the Son of God and as the Messiah and so they are not Christians. Therefore, the Israel’s offspring does not literally mean the literal Jews around the world but rather the modern Christians of today who are all over the world. Of course there are some literal Jews who are Christians because they are Jehovah’s Witnesses but they are only few. The offspring of the first witnesses or the Israel definitely includes the Christians of the Gentile nations. So I believe Christians before and of today are both witnesses of Jehovah just like his witness before – the Israel. The present day fulfillment of Jehovah’s Witnesses all over the world can be found in Acts 15: 16 – 19 and Amos 9:12.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are clearly identified in Revelation 12:17 where the dragon (Satan) is making war with them.

The Presence of the Son of Man

Jehovah’s Witnesses strongly believe that the Kingdom of Heaven was established by God in 1914. They tell that Jesus started to become king and can see now his invisible presence on earth and leading the work about the Kingdom of God. However, many religionists or religious sects strongly disapprove this truth. I, as a Bible study student with a JW, have studied this and have found out the truthfulness of this doctrine. In this essay, I will show you some proofs that I used on my personal study which I found useful in witnessing and which can be found in every Bible versions.

In Luke 17:22 it states that one of the days of the son of man will be wanted to see by the apostles of Jesus.

Luke 17:22 ‘Then he said to the disciples, “The time will come when you will wish you could see ONE OF THE DAYS OF THE SON OF MAN, but you will not see it.” – TEV

What would this indicate? We know that when a person lose or suffered from a pain because of problems he encountered there would come a time that he would surpass it and tell to himself and others “It’s my day finally” or “tomorrow will be my day again” or a friend can tell him “don’t worry your good day will come” or “don’t worry tomorrow you will have a good day again.” Thus a day could symbolize as a good happening for a person. These indicate that a day for a person is a day for his triumph or victory or regain in his life. Now in relating it to Jesus, he was once turned down by the Jews through insulting and killing him. The day of his death was really a painful one. Indeed, before he died he uttered to his Father “My God, My God, why did you abandon me?” (Matthew 27:46) But Jesus told to his apostles in Luke 17:22 that even his early apostles would have wanted to see one of the days of the son of man but they will never see it. He said it because that time is not yet to come on their time. Early Christians before have all died and he told them too not to be in those who are saying that the Christ has come. The days of the son of man literally refers on his starts of reigning as King, being the chosen and appointed one in leading the kingdom of God. Thus, most of the Christians before when Jesus told that words did not come to see his days beginning of the time he became King in heaven. Of course those who have heavenly hope will be resurrected on that time and will see the days of the son of man in heaven but not on the day he became King because resurrection for heavenly hope happens after Jesus had the authority in heaven and that Satan and his demons were cast down to earth. However, those who have earthly hope who died before will not be able to see that days of Jesus but they will be able to see the days of the reigning of Jesus in his millenial reign because they will be resurrected on earth. The presence of Jesus can be seen on earth now because the ministering or preaching of the word of God or the good news of the Kingdom of God are now growing and growing around the world. This proves the prophecy of Matthew 24:14 that the good news will be proclaimed throughout the world in the last days before the end of time comes. No religion in the world is as well organized and systematic as the Jehovah’s Witnesses are. Throughout the world the Kingdom halls are preaching the same biblical topics and subjects in different languages through their watchtower magazines. And the topics are really helpful in today’s life. The brothers and sisters can give their uplifting and encouraging comments which are very beneficial to the hearers or visitors. Elders and the ministerial servants of the congregations are not being paid even a single amount unlike other religions wherein their speakers must be paid off for them to preach to their churches. I can see now how JWs are really following the steps of early Christians – that while they’re preaching they are working for their own and their family. This Christian’s way example was stated by Paul. What a very nice biblical practice of true Christians! Anyway, the days of the son of man in verse 22 of chapter 17 of Luke doesn’t mean of days after Jesus had resurrected because his apostles have seen his resurrection and stay on earth for 40 days but this are the days of Jesus of having the power and authority over the earth and in heaven. Basically, the power and authority in heaven on earth were given to him when he was resurrected but he had fulfilled it more when he became king in heaven as appointed by God.

Luke 17:24 “As the lightning flashes across the sky and lights it up from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.”  – TEV

This shows that Jesus will be revealed just like a lightning from the east and will be shining toward the west. His day has finally come. As Jesus became the King in heaven, the truth had started to be seen by many people in the world. From a certain place, the Jehovah’s Witnesses are spreading now all over the world – Matthew 24:14. Jesus started to have authority over the nations. He was the one promised in Revelation that will rule all the nations with an iron rod.

Revelation 12:5 Then she gave birth to a son, who will rule over all nations with an iron rod. But the child was snatched away and taken to God and his throne. – TEV

The proof of this text can be read in Psalms 2:9 in which Jesus was described the one that will break all the nations of the earth with an iron rod. Please read also Psalms 2: 6 – 8 that proves Jesus is the appointed king by God in heaven. There is no one in the world that would fit to that position that could rule the earth.  Only Jesus fits to that position. If not Jesus who is he? No one could rule the entire earth. No human could have a position like that and has appointed by God. ONLY JESUS CAN FULFILL THAT! Therefore, Jesus became king in heaven as appointed by God before Armageddon comes because he will rule all over the nations with an iron rod and that he will destroy all the kingdoms on earth – Daniel 2:44. And his rulership will be fulfilled more in 1000 years of reigning of Jesus together with the 144,000. The proof can be seen in Revelation 2: 27-28 “To those who win the victory, who continue to the end to do what I want, I will give the same authority THAT I RECEIVED FROM MY FATHER: I will give them authority over the nations, to rule them with an iron rod and to break them to pieces like clay pots. I will also give them the morning star.” – TEV

Another proof against trinity doctrine! “Received FROM MY FATHER” – meaning there is a giver and a receiver. Two separate individuals at the same time! Can Jesus call himself his Father also and received the message from himself also? That’s not possible. The underlined words that refer to 144,000 simply show that as they became kings on heaven together with Jesus they will also rule over the earth in 1000 years or in millennial reign of Jesus (Revelation 14:1, 3; 5:9, 10)

Now where is the proof that would link that the kingdom of heaven was established in 1914?

Luke 17:26 – 28 “As it was in the time of Noah so shall it be in the DAYS of the Son of Man.” 27 Everybody kept on eating and drinking and men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat and the flood came and killed them all. It will be as it was in the time of Lot. Everybody kept on eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.” – TEV

This verse shows that the days of Jesus would be the same just like of the days of Noah. As what I have said, the days of Jesus mentioned here are the days when he became king in heaven as appointed by Jehovah until his appearance on the Great Day of Jehovah (in Armageddon) when he will be judging all the nations. This doesn’t mean as simple as eating, marrying and doing other things. When Noah warned the people they didn’t listen to him but continue doing  their evil works until the judgment of God came upon the wicked people. The same would happen in the days of Jesus or on HIS PRESENCE. People keep ignoring the Great Day of Jehovah and the truth about the word of God – 2 Peter 3:3 – 4. Notice the word used DAYS of the Son and not “day of the Son”. This would indicate something which would tell that the invisible presence of Jesus cannot be seen only in one day or in the Great Day of Jehovah or simply in Armageddon but rather signifies more days of his presence on earth before the final day of his appearance (not literally to be seen) on the Great Day of Jehovah. See also Matthew 24:37 – 39. Why did the Watchtower know that Jehovah will make a kingdom in heaven before Armageddon comes and that will end all the kingdoms on earth? The proof is in Daniel 2:44 “At the time of those rulers the God of heaven will establish a kingdom that will never end. It will never be conquered, but will completely destroy all empires and then last forever.”  Who are those rulers mentioned here? Verse 43 mentioned them as the empire. They are the toes that are partly clay and iron which means part of the empire will be strong and part of it weak. The toes in the feet are 10 which denotes as the totality of a group. Thus these toes denotes also all the political government with their own powers and will try to intermarriage but will not be able to make any more than iron can mix with clay. From these verses in the Bible we can conclude that the empire will be divided as what also mentioned in the Bible. Today, there are nations who are leading high against other nations – showing their full powers over some nations. There are also strong nations and weak nations today in this world. So what made the Watchtower say that these toes are divided political nations? If we are going to read their book about the explanation of Revelation, one part of that book mention about the number 10 which is in the Bible. We can see that the number ten symbolizes for the totality of nations on earth with its people. The proofs in the Bible about the number ten as the wholeness or totality of something are in the following:

Exodus 34:28 And he continued there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights. He ate no bread and he drank no water. And he proceeded to write upon the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Words. – NWT

Matthew 25:1 “Then the kingdom of the heavens will become like ten virginsthat took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.” – NWT

In this verse Jesus figuratively showed that the kingdom of heaven will be like that. The totality of invited people to be invited for the kingdom of God was 10 women but the other half did not act properly so when the bridegroom came they are not yet prepared. That what would happen to the remaining invited ones for the salvation of God who acted not properly and not READY and the time of the Son of Man came and they were rejected too for their salvation. They are ten virgins indicating that they are morally clean however they are not prepared of the coming of the Son of Man (Jesus) and so they were not approved for salvation. This calls the true Christians to be aware of the time of Great Day of Jehovah. True Christians should prepare now on the coming day of God! Zephaniah 2:3 reminds everyone to seek for righteousness and so HE MAY SURVIVE in the wrath of Jehovah. This tells us to be aware and think of the GREAT DAY OF JEHOVAH.

Revelation 13: 1And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names.” – NASB

Daniel 7:7  “After that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast—terrifying and frightening and very powerful. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.

No person in this world or no association in this world would have authority over every tribe, nation, language and race. It will be fulfilled on the coming days which would relate to all nations or tribes. It is therefore to conclude that it is none other than the political government of every nation which will bring great tribulation to the whole mankind. The leaders of every nation will act as one and will give their authority to the beast with ten horns (all political government of nations). Who is this? Of course the actions of every government will be approved by their leaders which may be affected by their institutions that they belong and these political government will act against all the false religions or the Great Babylon and it is on the Great Tribulation but it is said in the Bible that the days will be shortened because if not, no one will survive – Matthew 24:22. Thus the fulfillment of Armageddon will come shortly after the Great Tribulation and God will save his people.

Another verse is this Zechariah 8:23 “Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”‘” – NASB

23Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you. – KJV

“This is what Jehovah of armies has said, ‘It will be in those days that ten men out of all the languages of the nations will take hold, yes, they will actually take hold of the skirt of a man who is a Jew, saying: “We will go with YOU people, for we have heard [that] God is with YOU people.”’” – NWT

Of course no one can have knowledge of many languages totaling only for ten men who speak all the languages of nations. Thus, this example of the number “ten” symbolize for totality of the whole.

Now why JW say that 1914 was the year when Jesus became King in heaven. The chronological dates in the Bible show it is in 1914 because of the verse in Daniel 4:10-16. Another proof shows that 1914 was the year (based on seven years in Daniel 4:10-16) when the Kingdom of heaven was established. First, the Watchtower considered the text in Ezekiel 21:25-27.

25 ‘You profane and wicked prince of Israel, whose day has come, whose time of punishment has reached its climax, 26 this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Take off the turban, remove the crown. It will not be as it was: The lowly will be exalted and the exalted will be brought low. 27 A ruin! A ruin! I will make it a ruin! The crown will not be restored until he to whom it rightfully belongs shall come; to him I will give it.’ – TNIV

25And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,
26Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
27I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him. – KJV

Below is a quote from Watchtower’s site about the year 1914 in the Appendix of “What Does the Bible Really Teach?”.

DECADES in advance, Bible students proclaimed that there would be significant developments in 1914. What were these, and what evidence points to 1914 as such an important year?

As recorded at Luke 21:24, Jesus said: “Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations, until the appointed times of the nations [“the times of the Gentiles,” King James Version] are fulfilled.” Jerusalem had been the capital city of the Jewish nation—the seat of rulership of the line of kings from the house of King David. (Psalm 48:1, 2) However, these kings were unique among national leaders. They sat on “Jehovah’s throne” as representatives of God himself. (1 Chronicles 29:23) Jerusalem was thus a symbol of Jehovah’s rulership.

How and when, though, did God’s rulership begin to be “trampled on by the nations”? This happened in 607 B.C.E. when Jerusalem was conquered by the Babylonians. “Jehovah’s throne” became vacant, and the line of kings who descended from David was interrupted. (2 Kings 25:1-26) Would this ‘trampling’ go on forever? No, for the prophecy of Ezekiel said regarding Jerusalem’s last king, Zedekiah: “Remove the turban, and lift off the crown. . . . It will certainly become no one’s until he comes who has the legal right, and I must give it to him.” (Ezekiel 21:26, 27) The one who has “the legal right” to the Davidic crown is Christ Jesus. (Luke 1:32, 33) So the ‘trampling’ would end when Jesus became King.

When would that grand event occur? Jesus showed that the Gentiles would rule for a fixed period of time. The account in Daniel chapter 4 holds the key to knowing how long that period would last. It relates a prophetic dream experienced by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. He saw an immense tree that was chopped down. Its stump could not grow because it was banded with iron and copper. An angel declared: “Let seven times pass over it.”—Daniel 4:10-16.

In the Bible, trees are sometimes used to represent rulership. (Ezekiel 17:22-24; 31:2-5) So the chopping down of the symbolic tree represents how God’s rulership, as expressed through the kings at Jerusalem, would be interrupted. However, the vision served notice that this ‘trampling of Jerusalem’ would be temporary—a period of “seven times.” How long a period is that?

Revelation 12:6, 14 indicates that three and a half times equal “a thousand two hundred and sixty days.” “Seven times” would therefore last twice as long, or 2,520 days. But the Gentile nations did not stop ‘trampling’ on God’s rulership a mere 2,520 days after Jerusalem’s fall. Evidently, then, this prophecy covers a much longer period of time. On the basis of Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6, which speak of “a day for a year,” the “seven times” would cover 2,520 years.

The 2,520 years began in October 607 B.C.E., when Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians and the Davidic king was taken off his throne. The period ended in October 1914. At that time, “the appointed times of the nations” ended, and Jesus Christ was installed as God’s heavenly King.*—Psalm 2:1-6; Daniel 7:13, 14.

Just as Jesus predicted, his “presence” as heavenly King has been marked by dramatic world developments—war, famine, earthquakes, pestilences. (Matthew 24:3-8; Luke 21:11) Such developments bear powerful testimony to the fact that 1914 indeed marked the birth of God’s heavenly Kingdom and the beginning of “the last days” of this present wicked system of things.—2 Timothy 3:1-5.

* From October 607 B.C.E. to October 1 B.C.E. is 606 years. Since there is no zero year, from October 1 B.C.E. to October 1914 C.E. is 1,914 years. By adding 606 years and 1,914 years, we get 2,520 years. For information on Jerusalem’s fall in 607 B.C.E., see the article “Chronology” in Insight on the Scriptures, published by Jehovah’s Witnesses. – end of quote

What is the proof of becoming king of Jesus in heaven in 1914? We must consider again the text in Luke 17:22 which I have discussed above. So by this verse, we can definitely know that the presence “parousia” of Jesus and not “coming of Jesus” should have written in the Bible. In fact his presence is manifested in the events mention in Matthew 24:3 – 27. “His presence” should be the term to use and not “his coming” which may lead to the thinking of the day of Armageddon. We can see that in Luke 17:22 the days of the Son are just like Noah’s days meaning there is a great warning before the judgment come. His days started during the last days where people are busy with their lives and not paying attention about the word of God also Jesus presence can be seen in the beginning of the last days or the sign of the last days. And this proves in Matthew 24:33 wherein Jesus was described as already in the doors indicating that his presence is already here.

33 “So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.” – KJV

The doors represent each house. Jesus is knocking on every door to accept the truth brought by the JW. Jesus had started to organize the preaching of the word of God throughout the world – Matthew 24:14. Angels have participation also. In fact angels are sent by God to help and protect God’s people – Psalms 34:7. The manifestation that Jesus is already on the doors would mean that his presence on earth can now be seen while there are distresses that are happening to earth now. These are great wars, calamities, earthquakes, starvation, plague, famine. However, a good sign of the last days is the preaching of the word of God throughout the world. No religion fulfills the preaching of the kingdom of God throughout the world. Only the Jehovah’s Witnesses fulfill it in 236 lands and territories and continue to grow widely in the world. It says that when these things can be seen, Jesus is already at doors. Thus his invisible presence on earth can be seen now.

Another manifestation that Jesus became king in heaven is when Satan and his demons were thrown down to earth – Revelation 12:7 – 10.

10Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. – NASB

10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down. – TNIV

The said text in the Bible really proves that Jesus became King in heaven and had received authority from Jehovah. In fact verse 8 shows that Satan and his demons have no longer way to stay in heaven. The Kingdom of God  in Heaven was set after Satan and his demons were cast out from heaven and thrown down to earth.

“but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven.” – NWT

There was no place for them in heaven and they were thrown down to earth. What happened during 1914 and after this year? The world became worst. There were great wars all over the world. Actually the World War I began in August 1914 and the world became worst starting from 1914 until today. If we are going to go back in the stand of the Watchtower about the kingdom of heaven in 1914, we can see that on this year wherein the mark of date falls on October 1914 really shows that the Kingdom of heaven was established on that year because Satan and his demons were already thrown down to earth which caused the earth to become worst. Indeed, Revelation 12:12 says, “And so be glad, you heavens, and all you that live there! But how terrible for the earth and the sea! For the Devil has come down to you, and he is filled with rage, because he knows that he has only a little time left.”

That is true because after Armageddon, Satan and his demons will be imprisoned into a pit until 1000 years passed and then will be released again and try to deceive the mankind for their final test.

The following are translation from the book of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the explanation of Daniel’s Prophecy (tagalog version)

The Kingdom of Heaven under the appointed King (Jesus) was built during the time of the last kings or rulers mention in Daniel 2:44. The giant statue denotes the consecutive kingdoms on earth that will rule the earth. The first empire was under Nebuchadnezzar and being the king of Babylonian from 607 B.C. then followed by the next empire; Medo-Persian from 539 B.C. Then it followed by the third empire that ruled the earth – the Greece from 333 B.C. and the fourth empire – the Rome from 30 B.C. The iron legs of the statue don’t only portray the Roman Empire but also the political powers which had emerged from it – the Britain. Britain before was in Northwest part of the Roman Empire. But in 1763, this had become Britain Empire – ruling seven oceans. In 1776, its 13 colonies in America have expressed their freedom to establish the United States of America. After this year, Britain and U.S.A. have been together in times of war and peace. Therefore, the combination of Anglo-American came out as the seventh kingdom or the  7th world empire in the prophecy of the Bible. It can be found also in Revelation 17:10 (I have added this sentence). Like the Roman Empire, it proven strong as iron which uses iron-like authority. Therefore, the iron legs in the dreams included the Roman Empire and the world power of Anglo-American. The toes – partly iron and partly clay denotes the final form of rulership that will emerge at the end of this present world. This is the power of all kings of the world that represent the ten toes. New Kingdom in Heaven have established before Armageddon comes and that this kingdom will destroy all the kingdoms on earth on the Great day of Jehovah – Daniel 2:44 (See the underlined and highlighted word above on that verse.)

What a big proof to all! See also this verse that Jehovah chosen Jesus to be his king to judge all the nations.

Psalms 110:1, 5 – 6 (it shows in these verses that through Jesus, Jehovah will judge all the nations and defeat kings all over the earth.)

1The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
3Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
4The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
5The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
6He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
7He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head. – KJV

This is also in relation to Psalm 2:6 – 9

6 [Saying:] “I, even I, have installed my king
Upon Zion, my holy mountain.”

7 Let me refer to the decree of Jehovah;
He has said to me: “You are my son;
I, today, I have become your father.

8 Ask of me, that I may give nations as your inheritance
And the ends of the earth as your own possession.

9 You will break them with an iron scepter,
As though a potter’s vessel you will dash them to pieces.”

Another proof that Jesus presence is now seen on earth is in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and 1 Corinthians 15:23 which can be seen in Revelation 6: 9 – 11 and Revelation 20:6. In these verses we can see that resurrection for heavenly life started to happen already thus the presence of Jesus is happening already and not in the coming Armageddon.

Zepahaniah 3: 12 And I shall certainly let remain in the midst of you a people humble and lowly, and they will actually take refuge in the name of Jehovah.

The Name of God: Should We Used it or Not?

(An Old Exposition about the Name of God)

Most religions in Christianity believe that LORD and God are enough to address the God Almighty. For them, since the Christian Greek Scriptures or the New Testament (from which they claim the manuscripts found were original) has no name of God but rather only Lord and God and so they say it is proper and acceptable to call God in that way. These religions are deliberately criticizing the Jehovah’s Witnesses for using Jehovah as the name of God. For them it is a false and an invented name and an improper way of addressing God. However, despite of this, the Jehovah’s Witnesses are still upholding for their faith using the name Jehovah as the name of God. Some questions the Jehovah’s Witnesses as if why Jehovah is only the acceptable name of God. The Watchtower is claiming that Jehovah is the only acceptable name for God since they believe that they are the true God’s nation and they assert that the name they call upon is the appropriate and the only name of God which is in the true congregation of God. Thus, whoever believes in their presented biblical doctrines then they have to accept this name. For how can you accept the true teachings of the true God through his true congregation and yet denying the name of God that they call upon? On the other hand, the Jehovah’s Witnesses are using many different forms of name of God that differs in pronunciation. You can check those forms of name in Moreover, the name Yahweh is recognized by the Watchtower because it is also a possible name of God because it contains the tetragrammaton (YHWH). The Watchtower had accepted the use of the name Jehovah as the name of God since this is the name that is being used and was common to the people as early as in the 14th century and is being written in some literatures by early writers before. While the name Yahweh originated only in 19th century. Some would say, “Since the Watchtower recognize Yahweh, it is also possible to use other names that have tetragrammaton.” While other claims it is possible to call God as Jahveh or Yahveh, still I believe the Watchtower believes in only one name of God just as what Zechariah 14:9 states. So we cannot just accept other names for God especially when the tetragrammaton is not in the formed name of God. Others say Jehovah’s Witnesses is uncertain in the right pronunciation of the original name of God so it is not also proper to say or use Jehovah. That is not a big problem in addressing God. Many names in the Bible differ in some languages. As I have said lately, the Jehovah’s Witnesses are using many different forms of name of God according to their own language. They may differ in pronunciation yet it is all the same in English translation of the name of God which is Jehovah. Others say Yahweh is more correct since it has all the tetragrammaton (YHWH) unlike Jehovah which has JHVH. The Modern Hebrew alphabet does not have Y and W now. It has changed to J and V. For Hebrew Alphabet and Modern Hebrew Alphabet please see this link:

We all know that some names in Hebrew Bible starts with Y such as Yeshayahu, Yeremeyahu, Ya’akov, Yonah, Yonathan (not quite sure with this one) and others were translated as Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jacob, Jonah and Jonathan in English translation respectively. But we accept all of these translations having  no problem in dealing with these names. Jesus was written as Iesous in Greek and it was believed by many scholars and was accepted by many religions in Christianity that it maybe pronounced as Yeshua or Yehoshua in Hebrew and since this is true we accept the name of Jesus in our Bible translations having no problem on how it was pronounced before. The names in the Bible were written in different languages. Malachi is Malakias in Tagalog. Isaiah is Isaias in Tagalog, Peter is Pedro, John is Juan, Stephen is Esteban and James is Santiago (which is quite so far from English) in Tagalog. All of these names in Tagalog are accepted by Filipino. In other countries they also render these names according to their own language. So what’s the problem in pronouncing the name of God in different ways? We all accept it because of our faith and believe in the identity and personality of the carrier of that name. So why questions the name Jehovah? The question that should be asked by all is should we not use the name of God? The answer can be found in Romans 10:13.

Romans 10:13 For “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.” – NWT

13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” – TNIV

Joel 2:31 – 32

31 The sun itself will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and fear-inspiring day of Jehovah. 32 And it must occur that everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will get away safe; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will prove to be the escaped ones, just as Jehovah has said, and in among the survivors, whom Jehovah is calling.” – NWT

31 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.

32 And everyone who calls
on the name of the LORD will be saved
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be deliverance,
as the LORD has said,
even among the survivors
whom the LORD calls. – TNIV

It is said that all people who is calling the name of God will be saved. Is it only by calling the name of God assures our salvation? No. It is clear in James 2:26 that faith without work is dead. Faith without works is useless. It is like having wisdom yet not applying the truth or righteousness in your life. Wisdom alone cannot save us. But what also matters to God is the love. The love for the truth and love for God. The love for the truth is the love for accurate knowledge about the word of God and the love for God is to follow his commands – 1 John 5:3. When you follow his commands then you follow his will and following his will means righteousness. And what is his will concerning his name? We are all required to praise him. All living things are required to praise God – Psalms 150:6. How are going to praise God? Of course the first way is to praise him through his name. Read Psalms 148:1 – 14.

Psalms 148:1-14

Praise Jah, YOU people!
Praise Jehovah from the heavens,
Praise him in the heights.

2 Praise him, all YOU his angels.
Praise him, all YOU his army.

3 Praise him, YOU sun and moon.
Praise him, all YOU stars of light.

4 Praise him, YOU heavens of the heavens,
And YOU waters that are above the heavens.

5 Let them praise the name of Jehovah;
For he himself commanded, and they were created.

6 And he keeps them standing forever, to time indefinite.
A regulation he has given, and it will not pass away.

7 Praise Jehovah from the earth,
YOU sea monsters and all YOU watery deeps,

8 YOU fire and hail, snow and thick smoke,
You tempestuous wind, accomplishing his word,

9 YOU mountains and all YOU hills,
YOU fruit trees and all YOU cedars,

10 YOU wild animals and all YOU domestic animals,
YOU creeping things and winged birds,

11 YOU kings of the earth and all YOU national groups,
YOU princes and all YOU judges of the earth,

12 YOU young men and also YOU virgins,
YOU old men together with boys.

13 Let them praise the name of Jehovah,
For his name alone is unreachably high.
His dignity is above earth and heaven.

14 And he will exalt the horn of his people,
The praise of all his loyal ones,
Of the sons of Israel, the people near to him.
Praise Jah, YOU people!

Take note verse 5 and 13. What does it says? God calls us to praise his name. There are other verses in the Bible that required human to praise the name of God.  Back to Romans 10:13. In other versions it is only “call upon the name of the Lord” but what name should we call upon? When Paul wrote Romans 10:13, he quoted it from Joel 2:32 however, take a look of verse 31. When this is about to happen? It is in the coming Armageddon – on the Great Day of Jehovah. It was said that all who is calling upon the name Jehovah will be saved. Thus, we really need a name for God to call upon for us to have salvation. In addition to this, Psalms 68:4 provides us that Jah (YH = י ה , read backwards) is a short form of the name of God. You can see it in the original translation of KJV. The name Jehovah can be found also in Psalms 83:18 in KJV and Ang Dating Biblia or Ang Biblia. Thus, looking the name Jah in Hebrew Scriptures with tetragrammaton we can see that it has YH. All the names Jah and Jehovah in Hebrew Scriptures which can be found in Interlinear Bible corresponds from proper characters in Hebrew Scriptures for the name of God i.e. YH (

י ה

)and the tetragrammaton YHWH (

י ה ו ה

) How come Jehovah’s Witnesses is sure of the name Jah? It is because in the book of Revelation in the New Testament there is a word Aleluia in Greek which is the same as Halleluyah in Hebrew and when translated in English it becomes Hallelujah which means praise Jah (see Revelation 19:1,3 from NWT and other bible versions). “Hallelujah” or “praise God” is accepted by Christianity. Since Jesus was Iesous in Greek and might be pronounce his name in Hebrew as Yeshua of Yehoshua which has Y in the beginning of his name then it is also true that Jah is a translation of Yah which is Ia in Greek. Thus the last two letters in Allelouia in Greek language [IA] (wherein there is no letter H) was really from Ya which is also Yah. How sure that Ia is Yah? Notice if we are going to see again Psalms 68:4 which has a short form of a name of God which is (

י ה

)  we can also be sure that Ia (Ya) is really Yah because in all short form of names of God in Hebrew it has two characters which is YH. The J and V as modern translation of Y and W in Hebrew was formed now in the name Jehovah. While YH becomes JH in modern Hebrew Alphabet. Thus Jah (Yah) from YH is really the actual and correct and UNDENIABLE short form of the name of God.  Actually, there are early manuscripts that shows the IAW as the name of God in Greek which when dividing the letters will become IA – W and that is Ya (Yah) and W. Thus we may have YHW which was written in early inscriptions in stone in one particular area. I remember I have read an article that this name came from the people called Shasou or Shosou. The article is dated on May 1, 2010. Many scholars believe that this is the name of God.

Psalms 83:18

18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth. – KJV

18 Upang kanilang maalaman na ikaw lamang, na ang pangalan ay JEHOVA, ay Kataastaasan sa buong lupa. – Ang Dating Biblia o Ang Biblia

See this link

Psalms 68:4

4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. – KJV

Revelation 19:1, 3

1 After these things I heard what was as a loud voice of a great crowd in heaven. They said: “Praise Jah, YOU people! The salvation and the glory and the power belong to our God,

3 And right away for the second time they said: “Praise Jah, YOU people! And the smoke from her goes on ascending forever and ever.” – NWT

1And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

3And again they said, Alleluia And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. – KJV

1After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God;

Please see the link below that shows the original writing in Greek of the word “hallelujah”.

2BECAUSE HIS JUDGMENTS ARE TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS; for He has judged the great harlot who was corrupting the earth with her immorality, and HE HAS AVENGED THE BLOOD OF HIS BOND-SERVANTS ON HER.”

3And a second time they said, “Hallelujah! HER SMOKE RISES UP FOREVER AND EVER.” – NASB

Please see the following links below for further reading concerning the name of God.

The word hallelujah was taken from Hebrew word halleluyah wherein the word hallelu means praise followed by YH which is Yah. You can check Psalms 150 in the link below to see the word hallelujah.

Notice the other word praise (hallelu) which is also in this link and is connected in the word hallelujah.

Joel 2:31 – 32 is also repeated by Paul in Acts 2:19 – 21

19 And I will give portents in heaven above and signs on earth below, blood and fire and smoke mist; 20 the sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and illustrious day of Jehovah arrives. 21 And everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”’

Take note the “signs in heaven above and signs on earth below” which is in relation to what foretold by Jesus in Luke 21:25.

25 “Also, there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations, not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and [its] agitation,”

The importance of the name of God is also important just as what Revelation 11:18 states.

18 But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”

This verse is to be fulfilled on the coming Armageddon. It is noted that God will give the reward to those fearing his name. So the name is required, right?

The purpose of this writing is to show the common misconception of many people about the truth. I did not indicate the name of religions because it speaks of the general but perhaps as you may read you may be able to find to whom people it speaks the misconception of the teachings of those religions.

There is no writing in the Bible that speaks Jesus as God coequal with the Father. John 1:1 speaks of the Word who is a “god” and not as the God.

Proverbs 8:12 – 32 speaks of the Wisdom which is the personification of Jesus. In verse 22 Wisdom was said to be created or founded. He is the first of God’s works. Jesus was made in the very beginning, at the first before the world began. Verse 30 and 31 mentioned that he was like an architect or master worker or a craftsman and he was beside Jehovah God. Wisdom of God is not created. It was in him from the eternity as he exist eternity. See for his eternal qualities at Psalms 90:2 wherein one of his qualities that he possesses from eternal is his wisdom. See Revelation 3:15 in which Jesus was called the very beginning of the creation of God or the origin of all God’s creation (TEV). Here we can clearly see and understand plainly that Jesus was the firstborn of all creation (first created who belongs to the class of creation and preeminent to all creation of God) – Colossians 1:15.

For further proof of Jesus is not God but “a god”, please see the links below.

Many people of the so-called Christianity speaks that Jehovah is not the name of God. However, many Bible versions not only NWT writes the name of God as Jehovah. Please see the link here ( In King James Version (original) you can see that Jehovah is the name of God in Psalms 83:18 and in Psalms 68:4 it has a short form of his name as Jah (Yh in Hebrew) which is coined word of the praising word “hallelujah” in the book of Revelation. If Jehovah is not the name of God, then what name it should be given to him when Romans 10:13 requires by God to call him upon his name? Some people say that it is the Lord Jesus Christ. Again, the Trinity have proven faulty based on above and the links above so is it really Jesus Christ who is separated from Jehovah? No. This quote of Paul was taken from Joel 2:32. Why is TEV like that? It is so far with the exact translation? Sounds being biased again with their doctrine, aren’t they? Here is interlinear bible of the said verse: ( Notice verse 31 it says that before the Great Day of God has come or the Armageddon, there are still signs to be seen and that in verse 32 that whoever CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED. Who is the one spoken about that? It is none other than Jehovah, the God Almighty. Thus, it is require for the people to call the name of God in order to have salvation in the coming Great Day of Jehovah. So, does the name of God require us to have salvation? If Jehovah (YHWH or JHVH) is not correct then what name should we call upon to have salvation which is a requirement of God? Read Isaiah 40:26; Psalms 147:4 wherein the names are important to Jehovah that even stars he had given names and he call all of them according to their names. Acts 15:14 speaks of the people called for the name of Jehovah. Is it for only first Christians before? No. These also refer to the modern Christians today. You can read Isaiah 43:5 – 10. Verse 5 speaks that the witnesses of God will be from the east unto the west thus it includes the entire earth. Read Mark 13:10 in which it speaks that it is needed first to preach the good news to all nations. Verse 7 speaks again of those who call upon the name of God. Who are those people who call the name of God that teaches true word of God?

Psalms 33:12 NWT

Some people believe that Jesus is only a man or a prophet of God who has no pre-existence. Is he really a man? Or was he came from heaven and identified as the Son of God? The following are proofs that show that he has pre-existence in heaven.

Micah/Mikas 5:2

The one spoken about here is Jesus who was born in Ephrath or Bethlehem. Jesus was said to come from the beginning or indefinite time.

John 1:14

The Word was said to became a flesh (a man) that is Jesus became human when he came on earth in which in John 1:1,2 he was identified as the one who is with God.

John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

John 10:36 do YOU say to me whom the Father sanctified and dispatched into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, I am God’s Son? 37 If I am not doing the works of my Father, do not believe me.

1 Corinthians 15:45 – 47

45 It is even so written: “The first man Adam became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46Nevertheless, the first is, not that which is spiritual, but that which is physical, afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is out of the earth and made of dust; the second man is out of heaven.

John 3:13 Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man.

John 6:38 because I have come down from heaven to do, not my will, but the will of him that sent me.

John 6:62 62 What, therefore, if YOU should behold the Son of man ascending to where he was before?

Many religions in Christendom believe that the righteous people will live in heaven and does not believe on a paradise earth. Some people believe that the paradise is in heaven and others believe that there is a literal new earth. Are these teaching really uphold the truth?

In Corinthians 15:35 – 50 speaks of resurrection. Verse 35 questions of what kind of body will the resurrected will have. Paul gave a firm answer in verse 38 and 40 to which he mentioned that there is a kind of heavenly bodies and there is a kind of earthly bodies. Verse 50 speaks of resurrection who will be on heaven and those are the ones who must die first (verse 43 – 44) since resurrected for heaven will become spiritual being in relation to Colossians 1:18, 1 Corinthians 15:49; Romans 8:29, here resurrected people will have the image of Christ just as he died they will also die and resurrected in order Jesus to be called the firstborn of all the brothers (in heaven). Jesus is also the firstborn from among the dead who became spiritual being. The same would happen with those who have heavenly hope. They will die and be resurrected as spiritual beings. Now what shows that they are special ones? The next paragraph talks about those who have earthly hope. There is no resurrection for heaven that discusses resurrection for heaven but there is one in Psalms 68:18 which states, 18 “You have ascended on high;
You have carried away captives;
You have taken gifts in the form of men,
Yes, even the stubborn ones, to reside [among them], O Jah God.

The one ascended on high and have taken men to live on heaven is none other than Jesus for he is the one who revealed the purpose of God in those who will live on heaven. It is identified as Jesus in Ephesians 4:8 – 10 which states, 8 Wherefore he says: “When he ascended on high he carried away captives; he gave gifts [in] men.” 9 Now the expression “he ascended,” what does it mean but that he also descended into the lower regions, that is, the earth? 10 The very one that descended is also the one that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might give fullness to all things.

Proverbs/Kawikaan 2:21, 22

21 For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it22 As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.

It says the upright and blameless ones are the ones who will remain on earth. They are the ones who will remain in the land (still on earth).

Psalms/Awit 37:9, 11

9 For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.

11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

It says the meek ones will inherit the earth.

Psalms/Awit 104:5  He has founded the earth upon its established places;
It will not be made to totter to time indefinite, or forever.

It says that earth will remain forever.

Genesis 13:15 because all the land at which you are looking, to you and to your seed I am going to give it until time indefinite.

Genesis 48:4 And he went on to say to me, ‘Here I am making you fruitful, and I will make you many and I will transform you into a congregation of peoples and I will give this land to your seed after you for a possession to time indefinite.’

Ezekiel 37:25 And they will actually dwell upon the land that I gave to my servant, to Jacob, in which YOUR forefathers dwelt, and they will actually dwell upon it, they and their sons and their sons’ sons to time indefinite, and David my servant will be their chieftain to time indefinite.

Joel 3;19, 20

But as for Judah, to time indefinite it will be inhabited, and Jerusalem to generation after generation. 21 And I will consider innocent their blood that I had not considered innocent; and Jehovah will be residing in Zion.”

Matthew 5:5  “Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.

Isaiah 24:6 That is why the curse itself has eaten up the land, and those inhabiting it are held guilty. That is why the inhabitants of the land have decreased in number, and very few mortal men have remained over.

Isaiah 24:13 – 16

13 For thus it will become in the midst of the land, in among the peoples, like the beating off of the olive tree, like the gleaning when the grape gathering has come to an end. 14 They themselves will raise their voice, they will cry out joyfully. In the superiority of Jehovah they will certainly cry out shrilly from the sea. 15 That is why in the region of light they must glorify Jehovah, in the islands of the sea the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel. 16 From the extremity of the land there are melodies that we have heard: “Decoration to the Righteous One!”

Please see the link below.

Genesis 2:7 7 And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul.

Ezekiel 18:4, 20

4 Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.

20 The soul that is sinning—it itself will die. A son himself will bear nothing because of the error of the father, and a father himself will bear nothing because of the error of the son. Upon his own self the very righteousness of the righteous one will come to be, and upon his own self the very wickedness of a wicked one will come to be.

The interlinear for these verses are below. Please look the Strong’s number for the Hebrew word in verse 20 of the word person which is also soul.

James 5:20 know that he who turns a sinner back from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins. Thus, the soul is subject to death when someone is wicked.

Exodus 20:4,5

4 “You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. 5 You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation, in the case of those who hate me;

Deuteronomy 5:8, 9

8 “‘You must not make for yourself a carved image, any form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. 9 You must not bow down to them or be led to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons and upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation, in the case of those who hate me;

Isaiah 42:8 “I am Jehovah. That is my name; and to no one else shall I give my own glory, neither my praise to graven images.

Psalms 115:4 – 8

4 Their idols are silver and gold,
The work of the hands of earthling man.

5 A mouth they have, but they cannot speak;
Eyes they have, but they cannot see;

6 Ears they have, but they cannot hear.
A nose they have, but they cannot smell.

7 Hands are theirs, but they cannot feel.
Feet are theirs, but they cannot walk;
They utter no sound with their throat.

8 Those making them will become just like them,
All those who are trusting in them

We can see that those who are making those images will be just like them what more with those who use them for worshiping.

The Book of Mormon Compared with the Bible

The Book of Mormon and The Bible-Which one is True?

TO MEMBERS of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints The Book of Mormon is the word of God and is considered to be in complete harmony with the Bible. Their view was concisely expressed by Brigham Young in Journal of Discourses of July 13, 1862: “The Book of Mormon in no case contradicts the Bible. It has many words like those in the Bible, and as a whole is a strong witness to the Bible.” Mormons with this firm confidence in The Book of Mormon should not object when others compare their book with the Bible. Their publicly expressed conviction that it is truthful is an invitation to others to make such a comparison. But first let us briefly compare the backgrounds of these two books.

The writing of the Bible was done over a period of more than 1600 years, and much of its historical narrative has been confirmed by many archaeological findings as well as by secular historians of different periods of time. Thousands of manuscript copies of the Bible in the original languages that date back close to the days of the apostles exist today. These are available for examination by all language scholars.

The claim made for The Book of Mormon is that it covers a period from about 600 B.C. to about A.D. 421. Joseph Smith claimed that he translated it from golden plates that he found in a hiding place revealed to him by an angel. The reason why the plates or copies of the text on them are not available for examination is explained by saying that the angel had forbidden Joseph Smith to show them to anyone except those designated by the angel. After the translating work was done the angel is said to have taken them away.

The mass of archaeological data and the secular records that confirm the accuracy of Biblical history is conspicuously absent with regard to what is claimed to be historical narrative in The Book of Mormon. Nor is the deep secrecy that surrounded the writing of The Book of Mormon characteristic of the production of the Bible. The stone tablets upon which God wrote the Law were neither taken back by an angel nor was Moses forbidden to display them. The same can be said for the other writings that make up the Bible. They were openly displayed and copies distributed far and wide.

If The Book of Mormon contains the word of God, its doctrines should be in harmony with the Bible. Let us see if this is so regarding what it says about God. Concerning him Mosiah 3:5 states: “For behold, the time cometh, and is not far distant, that with power, the Lord Omnipotent who reigneth, who was, and is from all eternity to all eternity, shall come down from heaven among the children of men, and shall dwell in a tabernacle of clay, and shall go forth amongst men, working mighty miracles.” Here we find reflected the popular trinity doctrine of the churches of Christendom, which churches Joseph Smith considered to be wrong.

Consider a few more examples and note how The Book of Mormon boldly asserts that God and Christ are one God. Alma 11:38, 39 says: “Now Zeezrom saith again unto him: Is the Son of God the very Eternal Father? And Amulek said unto him: Yea, he is the very Eternal Father of heaven and of earth.” Mormon 7:7 speaks about singing praises “unto the Father, and unto the Son, and unto the Holy Ghost, which are one God, in a state of happiness which hath no end.” The Book of Mormon has Jesus Christ flatly saying, at 3 Nephi 11:14, “I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world.”

Nowhere does the Bible make such Trinitarian statements. At no time did Jesus Christ claim to be the “God of the whole earth” or the “God of Israel.” On this point The Book of Mormon contradicts the Bible. Instead of saying that the Father and the Son are one God, the Bible reveals the Son to be a creature who was the beginning of the Creator’s creations and who is subject to the Father even after his ascension to heaven. This is shown at 1 Corinthians 15:28, “But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.”

Rather than claiming to be God in the flesh, Jesus Christ pointed out his dependence upon the Father and his inferiority to him by saying: “I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative; just as I hear, I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.”—John 5:30.

Frequently the Hebrew text of the Bible refers to the great Source of life as Elohim. The trinity doctrine is not proved by the fact that this word is in the plural form. It is applied not only to the true God but also to the pagan god Dagon, as at Judges 16:23, 24. When referring to the Father, who is identified in the Bible by the proper name Jehovah, the definite article ha is often used before Elohim. Instead of indicating a plurality of gods or persons in one God, it means the plural number of majesty or excellence, as with the royal “we.”

A number of books in The Book of Mormon are dated before the coming of Christ, but they repeatedly talk about Jesus Christ, his sin-atoning sacrifice, his resurrection, his baptism in water, the baptism by the holy spirit, the salvation of man through Christ and the need of exercising faith in him in order to be saved. These things are mentioned with the great frequency that marks literary works produced after Jesus was killed and resurrected. Such statements about him become anachronisms in the time setting given them by The Book of Mormon. Being out of time-order, they conflict with the Bible, which places similar statements after Christ, not before his coming.

As might be expected when events are talked about out of time-order, The Book of Mormon occasionally slips and refers to them in the past tense instead of in the future tense. At 2 Nephi 31:6, 8 this is done. Speaking of Jesus Christ, these verses state: “Now, I would ask of you, my beloved brethren, wherein the Lamb of God did fulfil all righteousness in being baptized by water? Wherefore, after he was baptized with water the Holy Ghost descended upon him in the form of a dove.” These verses are assigned a date between 559 B.C. and 545 B.C. The same thing is done at 2 Nephi 33:6: “I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell.” How can a person supposedly living long before Christ made his sacrifice say that Christ had redeemed him?

About 124 years before Jesus was born in Bethlehem, The Book of Mormon has people crying out: “O have mercy, and apply the atoning blood of Christ that we may receive forgiveness of our sins, and our hearts may be purified; for we believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who created heaven and earth, and all things; who shall come down among the children of men.” (Mosiah 4:2) How can a people cry for forgiveness of sins by the atoning blood of Christ long before that blood was shed and at a time when God’s people were required to rely upon the animal sacrifices of the Law for atonement of sins?

Why do none of the Hebrew Bible writers talk about Jesus Christ, his sin-atoning sacrifice and resurrection as The Book of Mormon does? Did God reveal these vitally important things to people living in North America at that time and not to these beloved Hebrew servants of his? Mosiah 3:13 says: “The Lord God hath sent his holy prophets among all the children of men, to declare these things to every kindred, nation, and tongue, that thereby whosoever should believe that Christ should come, the same might receive remission of their sins.” Why, then, did not the prophets living prior to 124 B.C., when Mosiah was supposed to have been written, mention these things in their inspired writings?

It would be wholly incredible to claim that the Bible text as we have it today is so defective because of copyist errors that not one reference to Jesus Christ by name and to his sacrifice was left in the copious writings of the Hebrew Scriptures. If such references had ever existed, surely the writers of the Christian Greek Scriptures would have mentioned them. Rather than being grossly defective, the Biblical text as we have it today has been refined by comparison with very old manuscripts to the point where it is very accurate, little different from what the apostles had. What is subject to suspicion is not the accuracy of the Bible but the accuracy of The Book of Mormon.

Notwithstanding the fact that the Greek word biblía, from which we get the word Bible, was not used as a title for the Scriptures until the fifth century after Christ, The Book of Mormon has the term being used more than 500 years before Christ. It says at 2 Nephi 29:3, 10, “Many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible. Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my words.” The term Bible, or biblía, means “books” or “booklets” and is applied to the collection of inspired writings that are bound in codex form, that is with leaves and covers. No such collection existed when 2 Nephi was supposed to have been written. Here, then, is another inconsistency on the part of The Book of Mormon.

A very striking thing about The Book of Mormon is the frequent quotes or near quotes it makes from the Bible, the Authorized or King James Version. This was the version that was popular during the days of Joseph Smith. The books of the Bible were originally written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek without chapter and verse divisions. These came in the sixteenth century after Christ. But in the numerous direct quotes from the Bible that are made by The Book of Mormon, the very same verse divisions as found in the Authorized Version are generally used. Except for the occasional addition of a few words the quotations are identical with the Authorized Version. For example: 1 Nephi 20 and 21 are the same as Isaiah 48 and 49; 2 Nephi 7 and 8 are the same as Isaiah 50 to 52:2; 2 Nephi 12 to 24 is the same as Isaiah 2 to 14; 2 Nephi 27:25-35 is the same as Isaiah 29:13-24; Mosiah 14 is the same as Isaiah 53; 3 Nephi 24 is the same as Malachi 3; 3 Nephi 25 is the same as Malachi 4 and Moroni 10:9-17 is basically the same as 1 Corinthians 12:8-11. These are only a few of the many practically direct quotations from the Authorized Version of the Bible.

The Book of Mormon has men who are supposed to have lived…

Interestingly enough, The Book of Mormon has men who are supposed to have lived several hundred years before Christ using expressions that are found in the Greek Scriptures of the Bible, which Scriptures were written after the time of Christ. Paul’s expression at Hebrews 13:8 is used at least five times. He said: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (AV) Its first appearance in The Book of Mormon is at 1 Nephi 10:18, which was supposedly written more than 600 years before the days of the apostle Paul. It says: “For he is the same yesterday, to-day, and forever.” The other places where it appears are 2 Nephi 27:23, Alma 31:17, Mormon 9:9 and Moroni 10:19. The expression Paul used about the resurrection of Christ’s anointed followers at 1 Corinthians 15:53 is also used in several places. Paul said: “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” (AV) Notice the similarity to this famous expression of Mosiah 16:10: “Even this mortal shall put on immortality, and this corruption shall put on incorruption.” Variations of it appear at Alma 40:2 and 41:4. Both of these books are dated before Christ.

At Hebrews 3:8, 11 (AV), which quotes from Psalm 95:8, 11, it is written: “Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.” See the similarity of this statement at Alma 12:35, which is dated 82 B.C.: “Whosoever will harden his heart and will do iniquity, behold, I swear in my wrath that he shall not enter into my rest.” Verses 36 and 37 repeat the expression. A few verses back in this same chapter there is another expression found in Paul’s letter to the Hebrews with a slight variation. Verse 27 says: “It was appointed unto men that they must die; and after death, they must come to judgment.” The same expression appears at Hebrews 9:27.

Sometimes a verse in The Book of Mormon will contain familiar expressions from more than one place in the Bible. For example, Alma 34:36 states: “This I know, because the Lord hath said he dwelleth not in unholy temples, but in the hearts of the righteous doth he dwell; yea, and he has also said that the righteous shall sit down in his kingdom, to go no more out; but their garments should be made white through the blood of the Lamb.” The part about God not dwelling in temples is a variation of Stephen’s statement at Acts 7:48. It was Jesus who said the righteous would sit down in the kingdom. His words are recorded at Luke 13:29. The part about the white garments corresponds with Revelation 7:14. Another example is Mormon 9:9: “For do we not read that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and in him there is no variableness neither shadow of changing?” These expressions came from Hebrews 13:8 and James 1:17. Although Mormon is supposed to have said this in North America about 400 years after Christ, it is obvious where the statements originated.

The Book of Mormon has Jesus Christ appearing…

The Book of Mormon has Jesus Christ appearing in the flesh to the people of North America after his resurrection and ascension. Much of what it represents him as saying to the people are expressions written in the Bible. Lengthy quotations from the Authorized Version of what he said in Palestine are put in his mouth as being said in North America. For example, 3 Nephi 12:3-18, 21-28 and 31-45 are practically identical, verse for verse, with Matthew 5:3-18, 21-28 and 31-45 in the Authorized Version. This will also be found true when comparing 3 Nephi 13 with Matthew 6 as well as 3 Nephi 14 with Matthew 7. The type of similarities that comparison of these passages reveals would not have existed if Jesus had truly repeated these things to another people and they were written by different writers in a different language.

Many of Jesus’ statements

Many of Jesus’ statements recorded in the Bible can be found liberally sprinkled throughout The Book of Mormon, from those parts dated nearly 600 years before his birth to those dated over 400 years after his birth. What Jesus said about his sheep at John 10:9, 14, 16 is found, in part, at 1 Nephi 22:25, dated 588 years before Christ. Alma 31:37 uses Jesus’ words at Luke 12:22, although this book is dated 74 years before his birth. Jesus’ well-known expression at Matthew 16:19, where he tells Peter: “Whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven,” is found at Helaman 10:7, which says: “Behold, I give unto you power, that whatsoever ye shall seal on earth shall be sealed in heaven; and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” This is dated twenty-three years before the birth of Jesus. It should be of interest to mention here that what Peter said about Jesus at Acts 3:22-25 appears, with the exception of a few alterations, at 3 Nephi 20:23-25, as words that Jesus was supposed to have said A.D. 34 to people in North America, but its close resemblance to the Authorized Version of the Bible identifies its source.

In the liberal use that The Book of Mormon makes of what is written in the Authorized Version it has included the spurious passage that appears in this version at Matthew 6:13, the latter part of which verse is recognized as being an uninspired addition to the original Bible writings. This spurious passage at Matthew 6:13, which says: “For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen,” appears in identical form at 3 Nephi 13:13. Also, the apparently spurious verses at Mark 16:17, 18 appear almost word for word at Mormon 9:24.

After comparing The Book of Mormon with the Bible

After comparing The Book of Mormon with the Bible, the inevitable conclusions that must be drawn are these: It is not in harmony with the Bible but teaches doctrines that conflict with it. The reason that it has, as Brigham Young said, “many words like those in the Bible,” is that it lifts from the Bible, in great number, expressions used by the Bible writers and weaves them into its own text. What also dresses it up to sound like the popular Authorized Version of the Bible is its constant use of the archaic English of that version.

Detailed history

Measured against the detailed history of…

Measured against the detailed history of the Pentateuch, the sublime beauty of the Psalms, the concisely expressed wisdom of the Proverbs and the upbuilding counsel of the Pauline letters, The Book of Mormon stands as a shabby, uninspiring and painfully wordy imitation of God’s Word.

child of the most high,

You said:  Rev 6:9-11- When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAD BEEN SLAIN because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.

Now, the scene above was at the 5th seal. If God announced after the sixed seal, to have another group sealed , the 144k – Rev 7:3-8, that shows that the scripture themselves reveal that there was a number of people that could not be counted — IN HEAVEN– for the 144K WERE STILL TOGETHER AND DID NOT DIE UNTIL REV 14:1. So if the same number that were sealed in chapter 7 are same ones who were raised from the dead and appeared in Heaven at Rev 14:1, then how are the souls under the alter at the 5th seal, WHO ARE IN HEAVEN before the 144k witness ON EARTH were sealed with the Holy Spririt, considered the same group.. It appears that some one cant count.
If you read futher in chapter 7:9-11, he says there are number IN HEAVEN that cannot be counted, who are before the throne and before the lamb. JW says that they really mean on earth, but let go now to when the 144k die and come to heaven in chapter 14:1-5

Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.

And I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased from the earth.

WHO IS THIS GROUP SINGING THE SONG? – These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb. And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless.

As we can see, the 144k are clearly identified. Then they see a group that sounds like many waters and like a loud thunder. WHAT DO THEY DO? They sing a song that only the 144k can sing because no one in Heaven, other than the souls that were under the alter can sing a song about salvation. Only the people taken from the earth would even understand what the workds mean. AND GUESS WHAT? The group that is singing IS IN HEAVEN, just is they were in chapter 7, so now there are 2 scriptures that reveal that there is a large number in HEAVEN THAT COULD NOT BE COUNTED.

You see God was revealing these things to his bondservents about their future, not the future of earth dwellers, for they are not in the Kingdom fo God, only the remnants of Jerusalem.. SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IN REAL TIME — YOUR POINT NUMBER 2 ABOUT ONLY A 144K IN HEAVEN – HAS BEEN PROVEN FALSE!!!  more to come… later

Romans 10: 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God; but not according to accurate knowledge; 3 for, because of not knowing the righteousness of God but seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

1 Corinthians 2:15 However, the spiritual man examines indeed all things, but he himself is not examined by any man.

My answer: In your words you seems saying the 144K are the remnants of Israel here on earth that are still alive today and you viewed the ones in heaven as the great crowd who are not numbered and are standing before the throne of God and of the Lamb. Let us have first how resurrection will take place and who will be in heaven and on earth as what the JW believe.

Who will be on heaven? In John 3:3 – 5, Jesus mention that in order to get in heaven, one should be born again that is born of water and spirit, that is to say he must have baptism in water and is anointed with the spirit of God. Thus from these we can clearly say that only those who are baptized in water and are born of spirit or is anointed will get way to enter in the Kingdom of God in heaven. Jesus also said that he is the way, the truth and the life and that no one can come to his Father except through him – John 14:6. What does this verse suggest? First it gives proof of John 3:3 -5 where baptism in water is being practice on the time of Jesus starting through John the Baptizer. Second the promise of eternal life in heaven which was foretold by a psalmist in Psalms 68:18 was fulfilled only through Jesus when he came upon earth as man (Ephesians 4:8) and thus brought gifts of men from the earth into heaven. These people who have faith in God stated in the OLD TESTAMENT will not be made perfect apart from those who have heavenly calls [which includes Paul who belongs to that call] because they are the ones who will act as judges to mankind in the coming 1000 years or Millenial Reign of Jesus. They are the secondary part of the seed of Abraham to which the primary part is Jesus and it is through them that these people (in OT) who will live on earth during 1000 years will be made perfect as it says that they WILL NOT BE MADE PERFECT APART FROM THEM.

Who are the particular people who will be in heaven?

Romans 8:28 Now we know that God makes all his works cooperate together for the good of those who love God, those who are the ones called according to his purpose29because those whom he gave his first recognition he also foreordained to be patterned after the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 Moreover, those whom he foreordained are the ones he also called; and those whom he called are the ones he also declared to be righteous. Finally those whom he declared righteous are the ones he also glorified.

1 Peter 2:9 But YOU are “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for special possession, that YOU should declare abroad the excellencies” of the one that called YOU out of darkness into his wonderful light.

“It is not through the will of the one who is running but to the one who have mercy”. This verse in the Bible suggest that the gift for man of being on heaven is not on the will of the person who is running but rather on the One who chooses and have mercy on someone whom he may give heavenly life. This now calls the born of water and the born of spirit or born from God.

The first one speaks that this kind of people were called according to his purpose and the next verse identified them as a people for special possession. We may ask ‘what is this according to his purpose’. This is not only of becoming a spiritual being who will live eternally in heaven but an actual truth that these people who were called for the heavenly hope (Hebrews 3:1) will become kings and priests of God and of the Lamb just as they are described as a chosen race and a royal priesthood and the same that speaks in Revelation 14:1,4 identified as the 144K which brought from the HUMAN RACE that is from all races thus they are not literal Jews which is also in the same context or thought in Revelation 5:9, 10 which identifies as the ones who brought from among every tribe, language and nation who will become priests of God and become kings to rule on earth. Revelation 14:4 identified the 144K as the firstfruits to God and the Lamb. What does it mean? It means they are the first ones who are resurrected to be with God and with Jesus, the first product of new creation which God makes – Isaiah 65:17. That is the reason why Jesus is called the firstborn among the dead – Revelation 1:5; Colossians 1:18 and the next resurrected ones are those who have heavenly hope – Revelation 20:6. Take note in this verse that those holy ones who will be PART OF THE FIRST RESURRECTION will become KINGS OVER THE EARTH and THAT THEY WILL BECOME PRIESTS OF GOD AND OF CHRIST and become judges (Revelation 20:4) Now, why first resurrection is emphasized and that the second death has no power over them? It is because there will be another resurrection for those who have earthly hope which the second death may happen on some of them. These 144K will judge the survivor in Armageddon and the resurrected people who will have full knowledge about Jehovah and his word during 1000 years. These 144K will act as judges as what Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 6:2 and by John in Revelation 20:4. Thus, this is why they are called according to God’s purpose and that they are a people for special possession since they will dwell in heaven as spiritual beings. The word “special” means there is another thing of possession that is different with those who are for special possession and that another possession is the earth. The word “second death” marks its significance in identifying for the final judgment after 1000 years which God will do therefore there is resurrection for earthly hope in which people will have abundance knowledge about God and his creations and that after Satan and his demons were freed again after 1000 years for the final test of the people on earth (Revelation 20:2, 7 – 8), the second death (the cut off of life for eternal) will be the end of life of every people who will be against Jehovah. The second death is a term use to denote that there is no hope for a person who turned against God. His life will cease forever. I have explained through my previous comment that resurrection will take place first for those who have heavenly hope starting in the presence of Jesus as stated in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and 1 Corinthians 15:23 which has a proof in Revelation 6:9 – 11. This people who have heavenly hope were killed mostly during the first Christian era and during and prior to the world wars in which persecution to the God’s people are terrible.

Another additional proof that those who were living before Jesus Christ came as man will have no way to enter in heaven and this is another proof of John 3:3 – 5.

John 1:12 However, as many as did receive him, to them he gave authority to become God’s children, because they were exercising faith in his name; 13 and they were born, not from blood or from a fleshly will or from man’s will, but from God.

John is referring to Jesus name here. For those who believe on Jesus they can become God’s children, that is to those who had known Jesus and have faith on him and become God’s people. Let us analyze the verse.”However, as many as did receive him,” To whom this words fall? Is it not from his existence in earth when he started to preach the good news of kingdom up to now? Yes, there are prophets who have spoken about Jesus before he sent was to earth. Even King David did know about him. However, are all people in the Hebrew Scriptures got a chance to know him better including his name as Jesus? Certainly no. Jesus was named by God as Jesus only because of he is going to save the Israel – Matthew 1:21. Did people get the full knowledge about Jesus to early people before? No. That is why “as many as receive him” does not include the early God’s people. What’s next? “To them he gave authority to become God’s children.” Think of the sentence please. From this point we could learn that he (Jesus) is the one who gave authority to Christians to become God’s children because they are EXERCISING FAITH IN HIS NAME. When does his name revealed? Is it not when he was born as man? Meaning subject to Jesus is the chance to be God’s children and these is subject first with the call of God to them and their submission of their heart to God. For man and even themselves did not aim to be God’s children but with the will of God just as stated in John 1:13 “and they were born, not from blood or from a fleshly will or from man’s will, but from God.” They were born from God, from God’s spirit, they were chosen people from all the human race. Therefore, those who are first recognized as the children of God will have no way in entering on heaven except through Jesus as he himself said also that he is the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes to Father except through him (John 14:6) that is in either in literal presence with God in heaven and in spiritual sense.

You can read the proof against Trinity in the links below.

The links about the earth will not be destroyed is in the link below.

As you can see Jesus described the Kingdom in heaven like of the Parable of the Wedding (Matthew 22:1 – 14) . God set a day for the wedding feast for his son and he invited many people for the wedding feast of his son yet only few were chosen. To whom the “few” applies? It applies to the little flock or the small group of 144K who will be part of the Heavenly Kingdom. Many people are invited to attend for the wedding feast. Who are those “many people”? These are the true Christians who obey God and have faith in Jesus name who will be part of the extension of the Kingdom of God which is on earth. Who is the one thrown outside the darkness? It refers to those who are rejecting the word of God. These people are being called to come in to the true congregation of God, yet they keep saying that they are invited to be part of that feast wedding for the son yet they are not dress up with the right dress which means they did not do the requirement to be part of God’s kingdom, they are the ones who object and deny the will of God and the truth.

The Watchtower explains the word “in front of the throne” as not to meant literally in heaven. The Greek word used here is “enopion tou thronou” which has a literal meaning of “in sight of the throne” just as God described in Psalms 11:4. The word “in front of / before” does not require literally present in front of God but rather in an acceptable situation to God. Compare the words in Luke 1:6 and Acts 10:33. You may look the word “enopion” in Acts 10:33 with its literal meaning of “in sight” in this interlinear ( In addition to this, the two kinds of body that will be resurrected are identified in 1 Corinthians 15:35- 53. Take note verse 35, someone had asked how would the dead be resurrected? In what kind of body will they have? Verse 38 give answers in which God gives type of body according to his will. Verse 40 speaks the two types of body in resurrection that is the heavenly body and the earthly body. This verse is the MAIN ANSWER to verse 35 on what kind of body they will have in resurrection. It generally speaks of the resurrection of the dead people, isn’t it? Further proof of this that support of the resurrection for the heavenly hope is in Romans 8:17 in which it states a word “but” which gives significant different from those who have earthly hope. In this verse they are heirs of possession BUT of special possession just as what mention in 1 Peter 2:9. Other translations such as NIV, NASB and ASV have the word ”God” though it is not in the original Greek texts. Therefore Romans 8:17 suggest to those who have heirs BUT heirs in heaven. If the hope is only in heaven then there is no need to use “but” or ANOTHER SPECIFICATION of the word “heirs with Christ” but this word definitely differentiate the hope in heaven which is being compared with the hope on earth. Unfortunately, other translations did not see the importance to put the right word like the NWT does. Notice the words used, ”heirs of God” but the next phrase says ”heirs with Christ”. This gives different emphasis since in Psalms 37;9, 11, 29 the hope for the many people is to live on earth. Therefore, when the children of God is called heirs of God it is emphasized to be heirs with Christ [that is in heaven] since the people who will possess the earth are also heirs of God.

17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. – KJV

17and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. – NASB

The above translation though has not the word “but” indicates still that there is another group of people with heirs. If there is only one kind of heirs then the writing would not write the word “heirs” and emphasize “heirs of God” and “fellow heirs of Christ”. This speaks something special for those who have heirs with Christ since there is also another heirs which is on earth. Writing the word “then heirs” and repeated again as “heirs of God” and “joint-heirs of Christ” denotes that they are special people for God. If there is only one kind of body in resurrection and salvation then the writing should be written as only “heirs of God and of Christ”.

Below is the original meaning of the Greek word “peripoiesis” in 1 Peter 2:9

(peripoíēsis) originally meant, ” ‘a making to remain over and above‘. Thus this kind of people is above from among others that is why they are called priests of God and of Christ and they are kings over the earth. Therefore, they are special ones. Thus, the NWT is best translated the way it should mean unlike with other translations.

Below is a copy-paste for additional explanation which about the same topic above.

The commentator said: “If you understood the above point that God made through Paul, you would understand that no religion (which is just a form of worship) is physically GOD nor does a man made church represent God and any organization that presents itself as such is displaying idolatry and adultery. For just is the Kingdom is spiritual, so the Body of Christ is spiritual and they are spiritual discerned. If you don’t have Christ in you, you are not in Gods Kingdom, to teach contrary to this is calling Jesus a lie. The spiritual scriptures are for those that are spiritual, not for babes or for the dogs who pick out scriptures to use to bring their point across for this is what Satan did in the garden and to Jesus in wilderness. So to add a logically unsound carnal reason to God’s spiritual word is blasphemy and adultery.”

My answer: In your words you are implicitly saying that church is not important in identifying the true religion. It is true that true worshippers worship God in spirit and in truth and that true worshipers should worship God in spirit and truth – John 4:23 – 24. If true worship cannot be identified through a true religion then how come God can call his own nation as his true worshipers separate from the false religions? Actually, the church or congregation is important in identifying the true religion because Jesus is the foundation of the rock in which he taught the true teachings of the word of God – Matthew 21:42; Ephesians 2:20. It is through the foundation of the church which is the body of Christ (Ephesians 1:23; Colossians 1:18) the true teachings was set on. The question is how can the true worshipers of God be identified if they do not identify themselves as the true religion? Remember, Paul talked about different sects before which means different groups against the true group. Even Paul himself belongs to a sect before called Judaism – Acts 25:26; Galatians 1:13. In Galatians 1:13 Paul himself admitted that he persecuted the church or congregation of God. Thus, a true religion is identified through a true congregation of God. I believe that Jehovah’s Witnesses is the true congregation of God and that they are the only true religion.

The next lengthy paragraphs of yours are your personal opinion or experience. I cannot conclude if your statement is really from yours or it was only a craft from someone’s personal belief or experience. That is why I need to know your religion because it seems your identity crosses to at least three different religions.

The commentator said: “Your mistaken, the bible does not say that there is an earthly resurrection. The people who are raised on the earth after the 1000 year reign are raised at the white throne of Christ for Judgment and after they have been judged righteous, they are resurrected (Rev 20:11-14) to the earth. Note the scripture, they are raised AFTER the thousand year reign and just before Satan and death, at Armageddon. The Born Again Christians get the prize of being raised before Armageddon, the remainder of the world is raised for judgement at Armageddon after Satan and death are swallowed and throne in the Lake of Fire and the unbeleivers and the dogs go with them. Those in the first resurrection do not have to have their deeds named because they are covered with the blood. These are the ones who accepted Christ as their redeemer. They go to the Heavenly Jerusalem. The second resurrections is for those that did not accept Christ as God and their savior. Since they did not accept him and let the blood cover them, the book is opened and they are judged by their deeds. Those that are born again are sealed, so that they are saved from death, the non born again people from the beginning of time, will be judged.”

My answer: There is no resurrection after 1000 years. Revelation 20:6 speaks of resurrection for heavenly life who will be priests of God and Jesus and  be kings in heaven and will rule on earth for 1000 years (Revelation 5:9 – 10). To whom will they rule and why they will rule on earth? This gives an answer now as to the reason why resurrection will takes place after Armageddon. 1 Corinthians 6:2 and Revelation 20:4 states that this heavenly rulers (the 144K) will judge the people on earth and that is why they are going to rule on earth for the fulfillment of Isaiah 65:20 during 1000 years.  You said Satan and his demons will be killed after Armageddon and so the judgment to all people will take place and the righteous will be resurrected to live on earth. It is not possible since Revelation 20:2, 7 tells that after Armageddon, Satan and his demons will be put into prison for 1000 years first and after 1000 years he will be freed and deceived nations in the four corners of the world so therefore it means all nations will come for a final test. It cannot be first resurrection of righteous people on earth then after Satan and his demons destroyed after 1000 years another resurrection for the wicked takes place. It is not possible because it was said in Acts 24:15 that there will be a resurrection of both righteous and unrighteous. During 1000 years resurrected people will have to prove until the final test that they are deserving of eternal life (See Isaiah 65:20 and the preceding and following verses of it which will happen during 1000 years). The proof that first resurrection (heavenly life) takes place in the time of presence (parousia) of Jesus as what stated in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and 1 Corinthians 15:23 and not after Armageddon is also in Revelation 6:9 – 11.In this verse, the resurrected people (some of 144K) are in heaven already and are waiting for the time of God to take actions against the wicked people on earth which is on Armageddon. We see that there are people resurrected already before Armageddon comes and that is the time of presence of Jesus which starts after he became as appointed king by God in heaven in 1914 – Daniel 2:44. Now, what about Revelation 20:12 – 15, should we say that this will happen after the second resurrection of both righteous and unrighteous and so there is a resurrection of the wicked ones after 1000 years or the resurrection takes place after 1000 years? No. Remember the words of Jesus when he said to fear the One who can destroy both body and soul in Gehenna (Matthew 10:28). Plus the fact that there is a resurrection after Armageddon. Read Revelation 20:5. TAKE NOTE: THE OTHER PEOPLE WERE NOT RESURRECTED. THE JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES BELIEVE AS I ALSO BELIEVE THAT THESE ARE THE RESURRECTED PEOPLE WHO DID NOT COME TO REAL LIFE AFTER 1000 YEARS. THEY ARE THE ONES MISLED BY SATAN AFTER 1000 YEARS AND DISOBEYED GOD’S WILL. If someone may not believe on this, still the text shows that there are other people who did not resurrect until 1000 years. The same thought can be seen in Daniel 12:2 which states, ”And there will be many of those asleep in the ground of dust who will wake up, these to indefinitely lasting life and those to reproaches [and] to indefinitely lasting abhorrence.” However, the Jehovah’s Witnesses explained that this is in spiritual sense. If someone will take this literally, then therefore NOT ALL will be resurrected since the word used is only ”many”. The same thought applies to Revelation 20:5 which said that the other dead are not resurrected until 1000 years is over meaning in spiritual sense they did not able to come to real life after 1000 years. They were not able to surpass with the final test done by Satan and his demons.

Thus, the wicked ones are not in Hades but in Gehenna who will not have resurrection. The ones in Hades are the ones who will have chance to resurrect just as what stated in verse 13. If someone will say that these (verse13) are wicked and is believing the second resurrection (after Armageddon) applies to both righteous and unrighteous (the ones who did not come to know the truth), then it would violate the words in verse 13 that the dead were gave up by hades and sea meaning there are righteous persons in hades who will be resurrected. The words “those dead” does includes both “righteous and unrighteous” so it is impossible to say that wicked will be resurrected after 1000 years but instead there will be resurrection of both “righteous and unrighteous (the ones who have not come to know the truth)” after Armageddon and not the resurrection of the wicked anymore. Therefore, Hades and sea will gave up its dead people after Armageddon happens and that during 1000 years people will have full knowledge about Jehovah (Isaiah 11:9) and completely know the righteousness of Jehovah and that after 1000 years, Satan and his demons will attack God’s nation for a final test. Finally, the salvation once more will be acquired by the righteous people on earth when God will destroy all people who will disobey his will including Satan and his demons and that means the second death.

I hope it helps clear the things you mention.
